The Study on Measurement Method of Protection Potential for Outer Shell of Tank Bottom Plate

On the basis of bottom structure of oil tank widely used in home, a 12-m-diameter simulated tank bottom plate and corresponding impressed current cathodic protection system are established. The various measurement methods on the potential of tank bottom are studied. The paper analyzes the measurement results, describes the measurement errors possibly existed in measurement methods.
