The Application of Barium-Strontium Sulfate Scale Retarder in Oil Pipeline

  • Based on the study on scale types of Wumaying Oil Pipeline, a new type Barium-Strontium Sulfate scale retarder-ZBS—2 is developed. Room evaluation results show that this retarder is characterized by low cost, less injection and high retarding rate as well as good application result, which effectively control the serious corrosion occurred in Wumaying Oil Pipeline.
