The Development and Evaluation on High-concentration Powder-dispersed PPD for Sudanese Blended Crude

The sensitivity of the viscous crude oil produced from Heglig Oilfield of Sudan to CNPC-type PPD gets poor and poor. To assure the safety operation of Sudanese Blended Crude Pipeline, a new high-concentration powder-dispersed PPD suitable for Sudanese Blended Crude is developed, and an experimental evaluation on its modified effect is made. The results indicate that the potency of this kind of new PPD has better effect on decreasing viscosity and pour point and inhibiting the wax deposit than that of CNPC-type PPD originally used in Sudan.
