The Study on the Contamination of Batching Transportation of Products

In this paper, the experiment and study on the pipeline batch transportation of products carried out worldwide is introduced, the mechanism of contamination spreading between two miscible liquids flowing successively in a single pipeline and factors which affect mixing are analyzed. Calculations of virtual axial dispersion coefficient and prediction methods of volume of the mixture are surveyed. Some views of non-homogenous mixing process are proposed.
