The Application of FBE Coating in Tianjin-Beijing Product Oil Pipeline

  • Tianjin-Beijing Product Oil Pipeline, put into operation in 1999, is 185km in total length with Φ323. 9×6. 4(7) mm. The geological conditions of the right of way of pipeline are characterized by numerous network of rivers with high corrosivity. The FBE coating is selected to protect the pipeline. The recent measuring results of cathoclic protection show that FBE coating is very suitable for the corrosion control of the pipeline, which elongates the service life of magnesium anode and zinc anode.
