Abstract
The natural gas gathering pipeline network is a costly and complex system of gas ground engineering. The optimal design of gas gathering network system is to find a optimal combination of mam technical pa rameters which include station location, pipeline configuration, pipeline diameter and wall thickness. In this paper, by using grading optimization and model harmony method, the whole of the complex optimal design of gas gathering network system is divided into several subproblem firstly which can be optimized in turn, then the relation between pipeline configuration and pipeline parameters is coordinated by applying model harmony method. In this manner, the whole of the optimal design of gas gathering network system is solved.
