The Development of Diagnosis Expert System for Long Transport Pipeline

  • The principles and approaches of the leak diagnosis expert system on a long transport pipeline for military use are studied and proposed. The functions and architecture of the expert system are presented. The knowledge representation methods are described in detail, which are the frames of object-oriented knowledge and rules of experience knowledge, mechanism models and leak patterns. By adopting object-oriented programming language as the software development platform, the expert system is developed and put into use in field.
