The Status Quo of Gas Measurement & Research and Necessity to Establish Natural Gas Laboratory

According to the development actualities of natural gas in China, the necessity to establish gas laboratory is discussed. Take the gas laboratory of PetroChina Pipeline Corporation Science and Technology Center as an example, the article introduces the measurement equipments and items of gas analysis and measurement. The gas laboratory can undertake the following experiments and analyses: composition of gas, H2S content, water content of gas and water dew point. In the article, the formation condition of hydrate in gas pipeline is also analyzed, and the physical and chemical measures against the hydrate is put forward.
