The Determination of Optimal Operating Mode for Korla-Shan- shan Oil Pipeline

According to the operating conditions and the rheological behavior of crude oil transported in Korla-Shanshan Oil Pipeline, the economic comparison on three operating modes is made. By means of theoretical analysis and data statistics, the rationality to adjust the operating mode in accordance with different seasons is demonstrated. On the basis of demonstrated results, the optimal operating mode for the pipeline is determined.
