The Influence of Water Salinity and Organic Matter Content on Water Cut of Crude Oil

  • This article introduces a method for measuring the liquid permittivity using electric magnetic wave harmonic. The water salinity and organic matter in water can effect the liquid permittivity and the water cut measuring results using the capacitive sensor. The influence for measuring the water cut by the changing of liquid permittivity can not be taken into account in the low water cut, but the measuring difference induced by the changing of the liquid permittivity must be considered.
