A Displacement Measuring Method to Deal with the Liquid Level of Oil Tank

Whereas the old measuring methods of liquid level used in oil tank have disadvantages on efficiency and precision, a new measuring method is presented in this paper. After transforming liquid level to displacement of capacitive transducer and judging location of transducer and detecting variety of capacitance, level of liquid in oil tank could be obtained via computation. The structure of control system, principle of this method, error of measurement and its correction are introduced.
