Sand-laden Fluid Influences the Integrity of Multiphase Flow Transportation Pipeline

  • The crude oil produced in the Gudong Tract of Shengli Oilfield has high sand cut and high salinity effluent, which seriously influences the integrity of transportation pipeline due to the corrosion and erosion. On the basis of analyzing the flow mechanism of the fluid, the gas-liquid two-phase flow experiment is made. The experimented results indicate that the spiral flow can effectively reduce the grooving corrosion at the bottom of pipe.
