Typical Accident Analysis on the Oil Pipeline with Tight Line Transportation Process

Dongying-Linyi oil pipeline adopts tight line transportation process. In July 20 of 2000, the outlet pressure in Dongying station and inlet pressure in Binzhou station suddenly decreased. Through a theoretical analysis on the operational conditions for Dongying station and other stations along the pipeline, the leak possibility of the pipeline was put aside. In fact, the oil filter blockage in Dongying station produced the abnormal pressures.
