Engineering Reconnaissance in the Yangtze River Crossing for West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project

  • In the Yangtze River crossing for West-to-East gas transmission pipeline project, it is very difficult for above-water engineering and geology reconnaissance due to the swift current and deep water. A rationality to apply the above water engineering and geology reconnaissance method was analyzed. According to the analytical results, a proper and suitable drilling platform, location system and casing pipe were utilized. By means of these effective measures, the successful above-water reconnaissance was made.
