Study on Simulation Method of Waxy Oil Flow in Pipelines

Abstract
For the simulation of non-Newtonian waxy oil flow in pipeline, it has been experimentally confirmed that the difference in results caused by different simulation methods varies greatly, even though the heat history is the same. With the magnet-driven circular pipe flow simulator and RS 150 rheometer, an experimental study has been carried out to compare other simulation methods. In this paper, the simulation results from different simulation methods have been analyzed, and the applicable scopes of different siumlation methods to Daqing oil and PPD-treated Daqing oil have been put forward.
