Study On Pressure Drop of Oil-Water Stratified Pipe Flow
A pressure drop theoretical model for oil-water stratified pipe flow is presented and analyzed in this paper, considering the effect of interaction at oil-water interface. The model is validated with experiment results of white oil and water two-phase pipe flow, and the total error including model prediction and instrument measuring inaccuracy is not more than 15%.
