The Application of Electromagnetic Method in Detecting Underground Pipelines

  • The electromagnetic method is an available means to detect the trend and depth of old civil underground pipelines. The detection principle of electromagnetic method, exciation mechanism of EM wave and instruments and devices to be used in detection are introduced. The different electromagnetic detection methods and their applications are given according to the category of buried pipelines.
