Relation between Impeller Cutting and Pipeline Throughput

  • To solve the problem of mismatch of pumps operated between Dongying pump station and Binzhou pump station in Dongying Linyi oil pipeline, impellers of P1 and P4 pumps installed in Binzhou pump station have been cut down by 5 according to the cutting law of pump, which decreases pump power and realizes 4 pumps operation for the whole line. The impeller cutting method is effective in decreasing pressure of pipe, optimizing operation of pipeline, increasing throughput and economic profits.
