Drag Reduction Technology of Internal Coating in Gas Transmission Pipeline

  • With the design and construction of West-east Pipeline Project, a close attention is paid to the drag reduction technology of internal coating for the management and decision making departments, design and construction companies of pipelines. In this paper, the application and development trend in drag reduction technology of internal coating of gas pipelines at home and abroad, the technological features of this technology and the latest theoretical research results at abroad, relative selection and available process of coating materials are described, the foreign companies' technical and economic evaluations on the rationality and economy in applying drag reduction technology of internal coating during pre-feasibility study stage of pipeline design are especially introduced, which can be used for reference for domestic management and decision making departments, design and construction companies of pipelines.
