The Construction and Development of Foreign Underground Gas Storage Caverns in Salt Formations

The foreign construction and research development of gas storage caverns in salt formations are introduced. Meanwhile, the convergence of salt caverns.formation of hydrate, optimization building of salt caverns, sealing property of well and factor of thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics are also introduced. In the paper, the useful experiences for the studies of underground natural gas storages in China are offered.
