Research on the Wax Crystall Morphology of Crude Oil Modified with PPD

This paper studies separately the crystallographic structure and crystllization dynamics of the Daqing crude oil and the oil modified with PPD. The results have shown that the Daqing crude oil and the oil with PPD both are orthorhombic, but the volume of oil with PPD is larger than that of crude oil; the velocity constant of crystallization of Daqing crude oil is the biggist, the wax separated from crude oil is the second biggist, and the crude oil with PPD is the lowest. Furthermore, when the Daqing crude oil is injected with PPD, the density is bigger than that of crude oil without PPD.
