Water Hammer Control of Centrifugal Pump in Batch Transportation

By means of analyzing the water hammer phenomenon of centrifugal pump in batch transportation process, the principle of water hammer produced and hazard of water hammer to the operation of products pipeline are described. On the basis of analyzing the hydraulic conditions of centrifugal pump under the condition of multiple pump stations, the relevent control and prevention measures against water hammer have been presented.
