Failure Analysis on Heat Medium Heater

The more soot formation, untight flue tube, fall-off of refractory liner and heat medium ageing result in lower effective heat efficiency of heat medium heaters in Puyang—Luoyang oil pipeline. According to these problems existed in heat medium heaters of pump stations of the line, some improvement measures, like cleaning soot formation, removing old refractory liner and adopting new refractory material as well as elongating the service life of heat medium, have been put forward.
