Abstract
The deflection differential equation of column in ocean has been built, and critical buckling loads of column with two fixed ends has been obtained by using infinite series method and energy method. The influence of internal and external pressure on buckling of pipe string is discussed. The internal liquid pressure will decrease the longitudinal stability of pipeline and the external pressure will possess contary influence. The result can be used by the designers of pipeline.
