Dynamic Simulation of Multiphase Flow in Pipeline

  • This paper summarizes the state of art in the dynamic simulation of multiphase flow in pipelines and presents several multiphase flow models: two-fluid model (TFM), drift flux model (DFM), no pressure wave model (NPW). These models are based on the fluid dynamics. These codes are developed from the two-fluid model (TFM) and the drift flux model (DFM), which are composed of continuity and momentum transient equitions for each phase, the close relationships and the flow regime transition criteria.
