Analysis and Measurement on Exergy Equilibrium for Pumping Station

  • Based on the basic conception of exergy, evaluation criterion of exergy equilibrium and calculation method of exergy, the measurement of exergy equilibrium for Changqing pump station has been made. The analytical model of exergy and exergy equlibrium equations for the pump station system, transportation subsystem and power supply subsystem have been presented. By analyzing computation results. it is pointed out that the high grade energy is wasted on the low efficiency equipments, which is the main reason of waste of energy in the pump station. To solve the problem, the measures to be taken to increase the energy utilization rate and the systems' exergy efficiency have been put forward in the aspect of energy utilization.
