Batch Transportation of Crude Oils and its Relevant Technological Problem

On the assumption that the imported crude oil, for instance, the Mideast oil, will also be delivered through Huangdao oil depot to some refinery or user with batch transportation, some relevent process problems on the batch transportation appears due to the density and sulphur content for different kinds of crude oils. With this precondition, the problems on transportation technology of crude oils are discussed. The article analyzes the influence factors of contaminated volume for crude oils, presents some methods to solve the relevent problems, including interface detection, cut of mixed section, interface insulation of crude oils, as well as hydraulic calculation and crude oil metering.
