Study on Pricing Method for Pipeline Transportation of Natural Gas

The price of natural gas, as a component of sales price, is an important factor, which will influnce the gas utilization. The transportation cost influnces the price of natural gas to certain degree, and pricing method is of great significance in promoting the development of Chinese natural gas industry. The discussion and study on the issues existed in the price of transportation cost have been made. In this paper, two pricing methods for the price of transportation cost of natural gas are introduced. It is considered that the different pricing methods should be adopted according to different requirements.
