Transporting Light Diesel Oil at Critical Point Temperature

  • Light diesel oil will be clotted if it is conveyed with batch transportation at lower temperature, for instance, at critical point temperature. By analyzing the mass data of light diesel oil and temperature variations at each section of pipeline, a critical point temperature is presented, that is 8℃ when the soil temperature is 11℃ at terminal station, and light diesel oil can be transported at this temperature. For safety reason, some measures to be taken to ensure safe operation of pipeline have been put forward.
