The Application and Comparison of 3 Most Frequently Pipeline Coatings

This article introduces the 3 most frequently used pipeline coatings including coal tar, FBE, and poly-olefin coatings in the corrosion control field, analyzes and compares their application scopes and conditions. The author considers that many factors should be taken into account when the coatings are selected to a particular pipeline project. The characteristics of the 3 coating materials have been comprehensively evaluated.
