Development of Computer Software for Long Distance Oil Pipeline Design/Calculations

  • According to the current oil pipeline design codes and pipeling theories, a computer software LOPDC for long distance oil pipeline design/calculations has been successfully dveveloped, which can be run under Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT. It can perform almost all calculations for oil pipeline design, including selection of optimum pipeline diameter, technological and economic calculations, simulation of water hammer process, intensity calculations, and calculations for crossing engineering, etc. The software, having a friendly user's interface, being easy to use and having reliable calculation results, can satisfy the needs of oil pipeline design/calculations.
