Factorial Analysis Responsible for the Accuracy of Leak Detection in Pipeline Based on the Dynamic Mass Balance Rationale

  • By analyzing and discussing the factors responsible for the accuracy of leak detection in pipeline, which are based on the dynamic mass balance rationale, the authors have reached a conclusion that the precision of flowmeter and the estimation error of petroleum products linefill are two key factors of leak detection in pipeline. Meanwhile, the technical measures to be taken to improve the accuracy of leak detection are put forward in this paper.
