International Metering Method in Petroleum Trade

The author considers that only after adopting different standard conditions should the reasonable petroleum trade be done in accordance with the concerned metering standards commonly used in international petroleum market as to deal with the metering affair in petroleum trade. In this paper, two currently used crude oil international oil metering methods, that is static metering and dynamic metering, are introduced, and the relative international codes and/or standards to be abided by in metering are also described.
