Experiment and Research on the Heat Treated Oil Transportation of Pour Depressant Added Daqing Crude Oil

  • The slow-temperature-dropping-after-chilling tests on the Daqing crude oil with pour depressant added have been done in order to seek a proper heat treated oil transportation process for energy saving. The test results showed that the condensation piont of modified oil was a 14.5℃ drop lower than that of oil without PD added, a 7℃ drop lower than the oil treated with slow-temperature dropping, and the viscosity under low temperature obviousely decreased. The authors consider that the new heat treated oil transportation process will open up the application scope of crude oil transported through pipeline with PD added, and reduce the energy consumption to a large extent for the operating pipeline.
