Consumption control of polyethylene material in 3PE application of steel pipe

  • 摘要: 针对钢管3PE防腐施工中原材料的消耗控制问题,基于施工经验,通过分析3PE防腐层的厚度分布情况,确定了防腐层厚度不均匀是影响聚乙烯原材料消耗的主要因素。针对搭接处厚度高于管体防腐层和焊缝区厚度低于管体防腐层的情况,介绍了降低聚乙烯原材料消耗的主要方法,包括:减少搭接宽度;通过调节加热温度和托(压)辊压力,增加焊缝区防腐层的厚度;降低废管率。

     

    Abstract: In order to decrease the consumption control of raw materials in 3PE coating application of steel pipe and based on the experiences in 3PE coating application of steel pipe, the thickness distribution of 3PE coating is analyzed. The results show that the main factor affecting the consumption of polyethylene material is the uneven thickness of 3PE coating. Common situations in 3PE coating application are as follows: (1) the thickness of polyethylene coating at overlap position is higher than that of the pipe body, and (2) the thickness of polyethylene coating at welding joints is lower than that of the pipe body. The main methods to decrease the consumption of polyethylene material are introduced, including reducing overlap width, adjusting heating temperature and pressure of roller, increasing coating thickness at welding joints and reducing the reject ratio of pipes.
