Abstract: The various corrosion causes of bottom plates of tank have been analyzed in the paper. The author presents reasonable scheme of the selection of anticorrosion coating materials and the cathodic protection methods for tank bottom plates to effectively control corrosion. The favorable practice of design and construction for anticorrosion are discussed. The corrosion control of rim plate is especially described.
