Abstract: The current situations of pipeline can be accurately, timely, and convieniently reflected by means of the geographic information system of pipeline. The functions of this system includes quick inquiry, quick search of objects, span calculation of pipeline, statistics and analysis, copy maps display, data maintenance and aided design of pipeline, which can provide a reliable basis for the scientific management of pipeline.
