Abstract: In this paper, the status quo and developing tendency of natural gas flowrate measuring technique are described. The issues on the orifice meter used in the natural gas industry are analyzed. The paper puts forword the measures to increase the metering accuracy of orifice meter and a new idea to solve the entry perpendicular angle deactiyation as well as small measuring range.
