Possible Problems on Judging the Insulating Property of Insulating Flange with Electrontetric Method

  • 摘要: 用电位法判断绝缘法兰的绝缘性能常出现错误, 其原因是电位法未涉及绝缘法兰非保护端管/地电位的一个重要因素——绝缘法兰非保护端管道的接地电阻。根据欧姆定律和极化方程, 用数学方法推导出的绝缘法兰非保护端管道极化方程, 说明绝缘法兰非保护端的管/地电位, 取决于绝缘法兰的绝缘电阻、其保护端的管/地电位、非保护端的自然电位及其接地电阻。

     

    Abstract: The mistakes sometimes will be made by judging the insulating property of insulating flange with the electrometric method, and which originate from a important factor that the electrometric method does not involve the pipe/soil potential at the unprotected end; that is the earth resistance of pipe end unprotected by the insulating flange. Based on Ohm's law, the polarization equations for the pipe end unprotected by flange have been derived, which shows that the pipe/soil potential at the unprotected end of insulating flange depends on the insulating resistance of insulating flauge, its pipe/soil potential at the protected end, the natural potential at the protected end, and its earth resistance.
