Abstract: The buckling of buried pipeline is one of the reasons that results in fracture because of the uneven stress of pipeline. The main reasons of buckling of buried pipeline includes floation by water, soil liquification, swellable clay's swelling, and heave. The countermeasures against the buckling of buried pipeline such as backfilling, installing the special weights, soil replacement, and insulation as well as the construction program are presented in the paper.
