Abstract: The structure and operational principle of Danflo surge relief valve (imported from Danie Co. U. S. A.)are introduced in Korla-Shanshan oil pipeline. This kind of valve is compact, high flow rate, fast response, and rapid and smooth on/off. The specialized structure and responsiveness of the valve meet the needs of the pipeline, which can effectively reduce surge wave, protect the pipeline from superpressure induced from surge.
