Abstract: The conductive polymetric anode is a new-type anode developed in recent years, which can be widely used in the old pipeline with aged coating, tank bottom, pipeline network and high resistivity environment. In 1996, this kind of anode was installed in a 40 km pipeline section that located at high resistivity environment. More than 2 year's application shows that a good protective effect has been achieved.
