Abstract: The paper introduces the actual operating circumstance of Fushun--Yingkou oil product pipeline, and analyzes and discusses the maximum delivery capacity and optimally economic throughput of this pipeline. It is pointed out that the optimally economic throughput of the pipeline should be 240×10⁴-280×10⁴ t/a. If the throughput is less than 200×10⁴ t/a, the absolutely reasonable program is to shut down the intermediate pumping station. With this way, the maximum delivery capacity of this pipeline is at 350 m³/h provided that there is 365-working-day in every year. Some suggestions to modify the transportation process and equipments have been given in the paper.
