Calculation of Thermal Stress Intensity Factor for Semi-elliptical Surface Cracks of Thin Pipeline

  • 摘要: 论述了径厚比为10:1,具有内侧或外侧轴向表面半椭圆裂纹薄壁管道应力强度因子计算的权函数方法。根据有关文献给出了表面裂纹最深点及表面点权函数的解析表达式,着重分析了具有此类裂纹的薄壁管道在热应力作用下,最深点及表面点的应力强度因子与裂纹深度a/t和裂纹纵横比a/c的关系,其结果对薄壁管道的使用寿命评估和断裂分析具有一定的参考作用。

     

    Abstract: Weight function method to calculate stress intensity factor of thin pipelines with longitudinal internal/external semi-elliptical surface cracks and with a ratio of internal radius to thickness of 10 is stated in this paper. According to related documents, analytical expression of weight functions for the deepest point and the surface point of surface crack is presented. The emphasis is placed on the analysis of relation between the stress intensity factors of the deepest/surface point and the crack deepth a/t and the aspect ratios a/c, under the thermal stress. Some meaningful conclusions are obtained.
