Abstract: Introduces application condition of weatherproof paintings at home and aboard, points out that good weatherproof paintings shall be of excellent adhesion, water resistance, weatherproofs, chemiscal corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance. After testing of typical weatherproof painting samples, conclusion shows that fatty group polyurethane painting is superiors over chlorinated rubber painting in the aspects of weatherproofs, protection property and corrosion resistance. Analyzes reasons of failure occurred in chlorinated rubber painting and chlorosulfonation polyethylene painting, puts forward that attention shall be paid to popularization and application of fatty group polyurethane painting.
