Abstract:
The article analyzes pipeline's residual strength after corrosion proceeding from theory combining with practice, introduces an evaluating method of pipeline residual strength commonly applied internationally at present, taking American Standard (ANSI/AMSE B31 G) as representative, and an applicable condition of the method for our country's pipeline. Based on hydraulic explosive tests on different material qualities with given surface defects and different pipe diameters, and compared explosive results with theoretical calculation results in American standard, it is evident that the regulation of American Standard is applicable for our country. This will has a certain reference value to the operation and management of our pipeline.
