Abstract: For the long distance tight pipeline, the model selection and resonable bore calculation of ball valve directly affect the control character and the effectiveness of controlling water hammer. The analysis on the flow rate properties of ball valve has been made, and the calculating method has been given according to the transportation process, the computational examples have also been provided, which are very helpful to the model selecting and bore calculating of ball valve.
