A Method to Reduce the Evaporation Loss of Large Outer Floating Roof Tank

  • 摘要: 根据目前我国大型外浮顶罐的结构和使用状况, 提出了一种利用循环水在浮盘表面形成低温水流层, 从而控制浮盘表面温度保持在一定范围内的方法。该方法可以避免夏季时浮盘因阳光辐射和气温升高而导致油品温度变化过大的状况, 降低油气压力的变化幅度, 达到减少油品蒸发损耗的目的。同时, 对使用该方法进行油罐改造和设计提供了可行的实施方案和参考数据, 并对该方法的实际应用效果进行了评估。该方法具有结构简单、投资少、耗水量少和经济效益明显的特点, 适合在中南部地区外浮顶储罐上, 尤其是储存易挥发油品的储罐上使用。

     

    Abstract: The paper introduces a method to reduce the evaporation loss of large outer floating-roof tank. This method uses recirculated water to form a low temperature water-layer on the surface of the floating roof, can keep the temperature of floating roof in certain range. It can avoid the rising of oil temperature due to the sun radiation and the rising of surrounding temperature in summer, and finally reduces the oil pressure and evaporation loss. The paper provides construction program and technical data on how to retrofit and design, and evaluates the method's application. This method has the advantages of simple construction, low cost, low water consumption. The method is suitable for the floating roof tanks in the central and south region in China, especially for the volatile oil tanks.
