Abstract: The relationship between tank park capacity and tank norms, the arrange ways of tanks are discussed by means of parking area(ψ value)of unit capacity in tank park. The paper elaborates how to reduce ψ value and raise utilization rate of tank park. In storing oil products with the same fire danger class, the tank park capacity above 3 000 m³ is recommended. It is better for tanks to be arranged in double columns if the tank volume is not more than 5 000 m³.
