Abstract:
China's oil and gas pipeline industry was historically reviewed since it was established from the early fiveties up to now. The industry was delayed in development due to the various constrained conditions, and it grew up on a certain scale after the seventies. In the eighties, especially in the nineties, the development of. the industry is speeded up, some pipelines transporting oil product, condensate and dry gas have been in succession completed. These typical pipe lines include the submarine gas pipline from Yacheng 13-1 gas field to Hong Kong and Hainan which were constructed in cooperative way, Yingkou Bayuquan Oil Product Jetty, the second Dong-Huang Line controlled with computer system, and China's first desert oil pipeline-Lun-Ku pipeline. The total length of pipeline in China has been up to 16 000 km, and constituted the oil pipeline networks in Northeast, northen China, easten China and gas pipeline networks in Southwest, which marks a new construction stage in China's pipeline industry. China's future development of pipeline industry is to keep pace with the advanced level of foreign countries by means of raising the construction level, further improving the transportation process and opening up the transportation scale.
